Dr. Francis Tassé
Clinique Poirier is proud to welcome Dr. Francis Tassé to its team of professionals as a dental surgeon.
After obtaining his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Montreal in 2011, Dr. Tassé completed two years of multidisciplinary residency training. The first was at Montefiore Medical Center and the second at Columbia University's New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York.
Dr. Tassé then completed a one-year internship in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center affiliated with New York University.
During his three years of residency in New York, Dr. Tassé provided dental care in a hospital setting to patients with serious health problems. This allowed him to develop expertise in oral surgery, particularly in the extraction of wisdom teeth and the placement of implants.
In addition, during his practice in New York, Dr. Tassé completed a course in anesthesia, which allows him to offer his patients treatments under intravenous sedation or via tablets to promote relaxation and reduce discomfort.
Passionate about topics related to surgery, implantology, and sedation dentistry (intravenous and oral), Dr. Tassé is also a lecturer and trainer at the Académie Dentaire Multidisciplinaire de Longueuil.
We are pleased to introduce him to you!
